Dutch Springs Bethlehem, PA
Underwater Amusement Park, Water Park and much more! June 20, 21 & 22, 2008 Join Divemaster Ed Limoge for an exciting trip to Dutch Springs in Pennsylvania! Dutch Springs is a 50-acre lake, with attractions at depths up to 100 feet. It is spring-fed from an underground aquifer that filters through limestone to provide excellent visibility. Explore underwater platforms, submerged vehicles, aircraft and other unusual sites. Enjoy a variety of interesting fish and aquatic life, including Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass, Bluegills, Palomino Trout, Koi, Yellow Perch and Goldfish. Join us on June 20, 21 & 22, 2008, in Bethlehem, PA for some unique diving! Any dive certification is acceptable with a waiver of liability required (available at sign up). All equipment used for a dive is needed for the trip including tank, (lantern if you're interested in a night dive). Local shops are available for rental. There is an on-site fill station with Nitrox available. So what is there to see? Planes, trains, and Automobiles! Also trucks, boats, school bus and a helicopter (a favorite of the shop rats)! You're just minutes from historic downtown Bethlehem (shops, brew pub and much more). If you're interested in roller coasters Dorney Park is approximately 30 minutes away (6 coasters, one of which is 200 foot high). The costs for the trip are as follows: · Rooms are approximately $55/night/person (Dbl occupancy), · $26/day for diving (Saturday night dive is $5 and advanced c-card, Instructors dive for FREE). · On-site camping is $10/ night (plus next day admission). · Aqua Park (non-divers) is $17/day.
